Majesticare – Supporting each other during the Coronavirus Period
The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff is our top priority at this challenging time. Alongside the latest Government and Public Health England guidance we have carefully reviewed our current policies and detailed below the measures which have been implemented across our homes.
Visiting a Majesticare Care Home
Following Government Guidelines, we are now fully closed to visitors.
We are however doing everything that we can to keep our residents in touch with their loved ones using the power of technology. We will also be working hard to increase our in-house activities so that our residents remain socially engaged and not isolated.
Our management team are regularly reviewing guidance and contingency plans will develop in response to the evolving situation.
Should any of our residents begin to display symptoms of COVID-19, we will implement isolation precautions within their care bedroom until they have been fully assessed and a confirmed diagnosis has been established with a subsequent treatment plan (if required).
We are working in close co-operation with Public Health England and the NHS to ensure residents continue to receive the highest levels of care and support.
We believe that we are in a strong position to protect and support our elderly communities with enhanced infection control measures and access to specialist resources.
Accordingly, we will continue to welcome new residents into our homes, but will be taking additional assessment and admission protocols which will ensure that new residents are kept isolated until we are confident that they have not previously contracted or been exposed to the Coronavirus prior to admission.
Should you have any questions regarding the Majesticare response and actions in regard to COVID-19 please contact us using our dedicated email: email@example.com.
As we are certain you will appreciate, this situation is challenging and fast-moving and is likely to persist for many weeks. We are keeping developments under constant review and working closely with Public Health England and other advisors to respond as appropriate to the changing circumstances.
