Our Home Manager Mirko Ridolfo has been nominated as the first Championing Social Care & Great British Care Awards ‘COVID Hero’  for all of his amazing work within our beautiful  home. 

His nomination included an amazing tribute to the dedication  he has shown in light of the pandemic;

“Our Manager,Mirko, has been an incredibly positive force in ensuring my fellow staff and our residents feel reassured during the pandemic. He keeps us all informed with up to date knowledge in a relatable way- without jargon or panic- making us feel we are in a home that is prepared, mindful and supportive of each other”

“He has introduced an Infection Control and Prevention Plan that we all support wholeheartedly. Our recent Infection Prevention and Control inspection from the CQC proved his plan is robust and forward-thinking.

Mirko is supportive to all of our teams and understands that we too have our challenges during the pandemic I have never worked for such a supportive manager-and I have never looked forward to working alongside a manager like him. He works incredibly hard to keep our families informed, with a successful testing and vaccination programme he has allowed to us go home feeling we too are safe.”
