Little April Sawyer, aged 5, has been on a mission to raise funds for her local foodbank during the pandemic, and Blenheim House Care Home in Melksham are only to happy to help her continue!
April, of Melksham, has been creating posters with positive messages for our residents and staff to enjoy, with her now famous, creations on every noticeboard within the home. Blenheim House Care Home has donated £50 of art materials to April to encourage her wonderfully creative funding drive for a very positive cause.
Our residents were delighted to receive April’s Positive Posters:
Phyllis Kofoed, resident of Blenheim House received her poster and exclaimed: “Oh April! What a beautiful and thoughtful thing to do, I think your poster will spread lot’s of happiness to us all! “
Whilst another resident, Peter Sutton, was equally happy when he received Aprils poster, saying ;”I am very impressed that, at such a young age, April shows consideration of people in her community. She has a great talent and I hope she loves using the art materials that we have donated”
April has raised £630 so far for Melksham Food Bank by selling her Positive Posters. If you are also interested in helping Aprils Food Bank Fundraiser please visit her fundraising page HERE
