THE Good Neighbours Club, which announced last month that it would be disbanding at the end of August, has been thrown a potential lifeline by Blenheim House Care Home in Melksham
The club, which were not able to meet at their previous venue, has been offered a new meeting place at Blenheim House Care Home, Shurnhold, by Events Manager Chris Guest.
Secretary for The Good Neighbours Club, John Crook, told Melksham News, “Nick Galpin (the club’s facilitator) and I popped down to see Chris Guest this morning at Blenheim and were taken aback with his generous offer of free use of their facilities, which are very impressive.
Chris Guest, Events Manager, says ” We welcome the Good Neighbours club to Blenheim, if they need our venue to continue to operate we are certainly happy to help. This goes also for other community groups in the area, Blenheim House have committed to supporting the community in which it sits so please do get in touch!”
