This winter we have been working in partnership with Melksham Oaks Community School and the wider community to produce nearly 50 twiddle muffs to keep our residents toasty!
Pupils aged between 7 and 18, alongside teachers, parents and grandparents, produced the twiddle muffs, which look amazing, as part of their design and technology courses and community time.
The presents will be given out to residents throughout our festive period and, as you can see from the photo below, they are really well made, well done to all involved!
Lifestyle and Events Manager Chris Guest said, ” We want to say a huge thank you to Melksham Oaks for their hard work on the hand warmers, these will be a lovely present to keep our residents hands warm, and they will be delighted to know they have been made by our community. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with the school”
It’s a fantastic project- thanks to Mrs Jones, Head of the school’s Design and Technology course for collecting these and keep your eyes out for more inter-generational and community projects from Blenheim House soon!
