When it’s cold and grey outside, getting people together to connect over a warming cuppa and a good conversation helps to make everyone feel better and manage the ups and downs of life.
Blenheim House were pleased to attend a Brew Monday event in the Town Hall to help raise awareness and funds for the Samaritans campaign. The main hall was filled with the staff’s homemade cakes and lots of green balloons, with the aim to outreach and bring the local community together for a good cause and of course an excuse to break those New Year resolutions and eat lots of cake!
Blenheim House Care Home, Activities & Lifestyle Manager Chris Guest, attended the event with a whopping contribution of £100 towards Autonomy Cares Brew Monday. Blenheim House are keen to support many community events and service groups and Chris welcomes all communities and charities in need of support to contact the home at events.blenheimhouse@majesticare.co.uk
With all the thoughtful donations taken from the morning, Autonomy Care Groups Brew Monday was a huge success raising £236.40 for the Samaritans Charity.
